Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil for frying

Instructions
 

  •  Sift  all the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl and stir until everything is evenly distributed.
  • Whisk all the wet ingredients into a medium bowl until everything is combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well until there is no flour lumps in your batter
  • In a large cooking pan heat 1 tbsp of oil on medium low heat
  • 1.    Take a 1/8 cup of batter and fry in your pan. Once the oneside has bubbles in the middle of the batter and the bottom is golden brownflip the pancake and cook on the other side for 2 minutes or until the bottomis also golden brown and cooked. ( Make sure you keep adding a little bit ofoil into your pan after each pancake to ensure that non of them burn or stickto the pan.)
