- 400 grams beef ribe eye or beef shin
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 green pepper diced
- 2 stock cubes
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
- 30 ml Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 heaped tablespoons minestrone powder
- ½ tablespoon brown sugar
- ¼ cup chutney
- ⅛ cup tomato paste
- 1 cup water
Chop the onions into medium-sized pieces and place it into the slow cooker along with the listed spices.
Cut the beef into smaller more bite-sized pieces, do this only if it necessary. The size is subjective to everyone so cut the beef into your desired portions
Add the beef to the pot as well as the cup of water. Close the crock pot and allow the beef to stew up into this marvelous pepper steak stew for three hours.
Add diced green peppers to the stewing pepper steak and allow the crock pot to continue to cook for an hour.
