- 500 ml water enough to boil the potatoes until tender
- ¼ cup salted butter
- 1 tsp coriander
- ½ cup milk
Mincemeat stew
- 1 large onion
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 250 g ground beef
- 3 stalks celery
- 2 carrots
seasoning
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 50 g tomato paste
- 1 tsp steack and chops seasoning
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup water
- salt and pepper
Prepare the Potatoes:
Peel and dice the potatoes.
Boil them until they are tender.
Mash the potatoes with butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook the Meat Filling:
In a skillet, cook the finely chopped onions until they are soft and translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Add the ground beef or lamb and cook until browned.
Stir in the diced carrots and peas, cooking until they are slightly softened.
