This recipe will show you how to make the perfect, juicy, spicy, sweet, and sticky wings that will satisfy all of your baked wing cravings.

Ingredients
  

brine mixture

  • 12 fully defrosted chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp table salt
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 stalk

marinate

  • 1 tbsp crushed powdered garlic
  • 3 tsp crushed dried chilli
  • 2 tbsp dried rosemary
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melt
  • ¼ cup sunflower oil canola oil will do as well

Instructions

  • Combine your rosemary, salt and water in a large bowl and mix well. Now add your twelve pieces of wings into the large bowl and make sure that all pieces are covered in the brine water. Set aside in the fridge for about 45 minutes to allow it to brine. Make the marinate in the meantime.

Marinate

  • In a medium bowl combine all the marinade ingredients and mix well.
  • Place your marinade in the drained chicken and make sure you massage the marinade into your chicken for at least 5 minutes.
  • Place your marinating wings into the fridge for 15 minutes.
  • In the meantime preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius on bake and grill.

  • Spaciously place your chicken wings into a large baking tray, preferably using a baking glass dish, making sure that no pieces are on top of the others.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until your chicken is fully cooked.

Notes

How to know when your chicken is fully cooked?
When you poke a toothpick into a wing the juice that comes out as a clear white colour.
